Embrace the Process V
1 Kings 6:7: The stone blocks for the building of The Temple were all dressed at the quarry so that the building site itself was reverently quiet—no noise from hammers and chisels and other iron tools.
The stones used in the construction of the Temple were finished at the quarry, so there was no sound of hammer, ax, or any other iron tool at the building site.
This passage is amazing because of the precision that had to be in place in making each stone hewed fit exactly into the space it was meant for. This takes something most of us lack in getting fit for our destinies today; PATIENCE!
God has a place for you in this world, it however takes time to hew you to fit into the grand plan He has for the world.
The beauty of the temple was later seen, but it is important to know that every single piece of stone finished at the quarry, inputted to the beauty of the temple at the end, no matter how small it might have been in size. The keyword, is to be FINISHED; fully made, fit, complete, shaped, designed to qualify for the Master’s use.
Isaiah 42:2: He shall not cry, nor lift, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. The world will not celebrate your noise before you are fit for the space meant for you, neither will they celebrate your making, so stop looking for some sympathy or empathy at the present.
What is certain, however, is that the world will celebrate your Finished Person who fits right into the place of your destiny?
Stay in the quarry site, endure the hewing and cutting, take the hitting of the hammer, let the pruning cut off the unnecessary, embrace the process!
