Embrace the Process III
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The results we want to get in the world today and the sacrifices we are willing to make to have them are so much in contrast in so many people’s lives that one wonders how exactly miracles are meant to happen.
God takes people from the back to the forefront and I duly believe that, but behind of so called ‘sudden’ rising is an unseen, unnoticed, continuous hardworking and process in the right direction.
Take the story of Elijah for instance who assumed he was the only one left and wanted to die. Of course, God points out He’s got many who are in right standing with Him and just then it seems like Elisha came out of nowhere.
It might look like Elijah discovered him, but however, God has always appointed and known Him.
Even after this we still do not see his ministry take a jet-flight all of a sudden, no! He served, followed, insisted, until he attained.
The main reason why some fail to reach where God has for them and do not have the tenacity to embrace the process is simply because such people do not keep their eyes on the mark. Paul says that he forgets the past achievements, failures, healings, celebrations, victories, stoning, prison and reach out for the reason for which he was saved. If you will win in life, you need to firstly win over your desire to give up!
Hebrews 5:8 Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered… Embrace the Process!
