Embrace the Process II
Genesis 8:22 “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer, and winter, day and night will never cease.”
God is interested in our fruitfulness and He would love to have us call in our harvest. However, the word of God to us as said to Noah in the passage above is more pronounced because the harvest does not have a time. You can call in your harvest today, however, what have you seeded?
Without a giving, there is no receiving. Without a sowing, there is no reaping. Without a job well done, there is no wages. Without an obedience, there is no reward. The crust of the matter is this; “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reaps.” (Galatians 6:7)
Psalm 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
How many of us have seen a farmer bringing in the harvest from their fields?
The farmer doesn’t buy a field that is ready with a harvest. The farmer’s harvest begins when he plants the seed in the ground many months before. But his work doesn’t stop when he gets the seed in the ground. He has to:
• Cultivate it.
• Work over it.
• Water it.
• Dig around it.
• Give it all-around attention to make it produce, so he can go out & gather in the harvest HE IS EXPECTING!
